About nine years ago, if you asked MainSpring Senior Systems Administrator Bryan Hunt where his career was heading, he probably would’ve said something along the lines of “moving on to the next chapter.” At that point in time, Bryan had already been working at MainSpring (formerly Corporate Network Services) for three years when he decided to branch out and pursue another career opportunity.
It didn’t take long, however, (another three years to be exact) for Bryan to return to MainSpring—this time bringing with him a strategic opportunity to support the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) at Fort Detrick, Maryland. With Bryan’s extensive expertise and strong recommendation, MainSpring secured the contract opportunity, and he became a MainSpringer once more.
Fast forward to 2017, and Bryan is still demonstrating why he’s one of the best tech experts around…

Recently, Fort Detrick’s NEC needed to reconfigure one of their core networking processes, but, with tight deadlines and short staffing, the task appeared increasingly difficult to complete.
Thinking quickly, Bryan met with a few other enterprise IT experts to share and discuss lessons he’d learned from training. His expertise not only helped his team significantly shorten the process, but it also led him to develop an innovative solution for the entire network reconfiguration. Bryan’s commitment and innovative nature ultimately saved the team upwards of 240 hours of labor.
According to his colleague, Rich Fralinger, Bryan’s work to resolve this was “nothing short of amazing.” What’s more, Rich exclaims, “[Bryan] is the master of hard work, genius and poise—his solution will expedite any future endeavors in whatever direction the Army directs. His efforts deserve recognition to the nth degree…He always goes above and beyond anything I’ve ever seen.”
