WASHINGTON, D.C. – This month, MainSpring promoted Ray Steen to Vice President, Strategy and Consulting. Ray joined MainSpring in February 2014 and brings 18 years of experience in strategy, consulting and communications having supported federal, commercial and nonprofit organizations with Booz Allen Hamilton and General Dynamics.
In Ray’s new role he will not only contribute to MainSpring’s strategic plan but also oversee high-level consulting with new and existing clients. He will also lead the continued development of the firm’s professional service offerings, such as training, Web and SharePoint development, strategic planning and cyber security. Ray will develop MainSpring’s channel program, matching strategic partners that align with the firm’s approach to help meet client needs. He’ll also use the program to create new business opportunities and improve awareness of MainSpring’s consultants and expertise.
Ray’s experience supporting missions with the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and the American Red Cross uniquely positions MainSpring to identify and support our clients’ and partners’ missions. MainSpring’s approach is both simple and strategic—aligning technology to strategic plans to meet a mission. Since last year, Ray has helped re-position MainSpring as not only a managed services provider, FileMaker or SharePoint development shop, or a government contracting agency, but a full-service IT strategy and consulting firm.
Since the change to MainSpring this February, more of our clients and partners now understand they can tap into our people and expertise across markets to create a clear technology roadmap, help their staff be more efficient and make technology work for them.
